Invitation for Expression of Interest - Empanelment of Resource Persons/Faculty/Experts for Digital Accounting & Assurance Board, ICAI
Overview
The Digital Accounting and Assurance Board (DAAB) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for empanelment as faculty for its flagship courses and programmes.
As part of this initiative, the Board is organizing a Faculty Identification Programme (FIP) at various locations across India. The present EoI seeks nominations from eligible experts for the FIP scheduled at the Centre of Excellence, Kolkata on 24-25 November 2025 and Centre of Excellence, Jaipur on 8-9 December 2025, and Faculty Identification Program for Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi - dates will be announced soon.
DAAB, ICAI, conducts flagship professional capacity building programmes to strengthen the competencies of Chartered Accountants. DAAB offers high-quality Certificate Courses, Post-Qualification Courses, Seminars, Conferences and Executive Development Programmes. Details are as under:
- Post Qualification Courses on Information Systems Audit (DISA) (Updation of syllabus in process)
- Certificate Course on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection (FAFD) (Shall be converted to Diploma in Forensic Investigation (DFI) and launching soon)

Your Expression of Interest (EoI) for empanelment as faculty is warmly welcomed.
Requirements for Empanelment for faculty:
1. Minimum Qualification: The details of various courses, minimum qualification as well as teaching experience required for empaneled faculty for each course is given in Annexure I.
2. Communication Skills: (a) Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written; (b) Ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and understandable manner.
3. Industry Experience: (a) Practical experience and a strong background in the industry related to the skill being taught; (b) Knowledge of real-world application and industry trends will be an added advantage.
4. Facilitation and interpersonal skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with participants and create a positive learning environment.
5. Technological Proficiency: (a) Familiarity with relevant technologies to enhance learning experience and (b) Capability to integrate technology into skill development activities.
6. Commitment & Availability: Willingness to engage in scheduled classes, preparatory work, mentoring, and programme assessments; flexibility to travel for physical sessions, if required.
Note: After selection in FIP, the resource will be empaneled as Trainee Faculty who would be required to following conditions to get empaneled as the faculty of DAAB.
7. Trainee Faculty Requirement:
- After selection, the trainee faculty will be required to undergo mentorship by attending a minimum of 12 hours of sessions conducted by empaneled speakers.
- Each trainee faculty will also be required to deliver at least one hour of teaching (in two slots of 30 minutes each in one batch) under the guidance of empaneled speakers.
- On successful completion of mentorship and contribution of 24 CPE hours (training + delivery), feedback will be reviewed by DAAB for upgradation as an empaneled faculty.
Note:
- Stay will be on a twin-sharing basis.
- Travel to/from the venue shall be managed by participants.
- Accommodation on twin sharing basis will be provided at COE, Jaipur by ICAI.
- Accomodation on twin sharing basis will be provided near by COE, Kolkata by ICAI.
- Participants must carry their ID proof and confirmation email at the time of check-in.
- Please ensure that the minimum eligibility criteria are met before filling out the form.
- After verification of EoI responses, the board will ask for the document for verification of the short-listed participants.
- DAAB, ICAI reserves the right to reject or disqualify any application without prior intimation, if found ineligible or incomplete.

DISA
